Spinach, potato, carrot and cheddar mash

350g potatoes, diced | |
200g carrots, diced | |
25g Cheddar cheese, grated | |
50g spinach | |
2tbsp milk | |
1tsp unsalted butter |
Directions

Get started
Put the potatoes and carrots into a steamer and steam for 12 to 15 minutes until tender. Alternatively put into a saucepan, cover with boiling water and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until soft.
Mark as complete

Drain
Drain and mash using a potato masher. Add the spinach, Cheddar cheese, milk and butter. Stir over a gentle heat until melted and the spinach has wilted.
